Conference Registration Guidelines and Fees

Early Bird Registration:

Late and Onsite Registration (CASH ONLY!):

After November 8th; and November 26th – 28th from 08:00 until 17:00

Please note: If you register after November 8, payment is only possible in Cash at the registration desk of the conference.

* Student registration is only available for full-time students. A valid copy of a student identification card is required. Please send a scan / copy of your Student ID card to registration@interactive-storytelling.com.

The registration fees cover:

-          Access to all conference sessions, including workshops on Saturday

-          Conference proceedings book

-          Daily lunch (Wednesday - Friday)

-          Daily coffee/tea breaks (Wednesday - Friday)

The Gala Dinner will be organised as a social event on Thursday evening, November 27, 2008.



The conference closes on Friday evening. On the Saturday after the conference, we conduct several informal workshops for interested people. Attendance is included in the conference fee, but depends on the number of participants. Please indicate your interest in the workshops with your registration. We will get back to you to confirm your participation.


Payment and Invoice

After approval of your registration, you will receive an invoice and payment instructions. After your payment is received, you will soon get an email that confirms your valid registration.



Few scholarships are available, which are granted based on the early receipt of a written, well-grounded application by email to grant@interactive-storytelling.com.


Student Volunteers

Students wishing to volunteer for the conference should contact volunteer@interactive-storytelling.com for more details.


Event Options

Selected further options can be paid at the conference in cash: Extra Proceedings (discounted cost price, TBA), Erfurt City Tour, Parking.



If you need to apply for travel visa, we will send you an official invitation letter immediately after we receive the payment.


Cancellation Fees

Only written cancellation will be taken into account (to registration@interactive-storytelling.com). At least, one author per paper should remain registered. Please note that 100,00 € as cancellation / administrative charge will be retained for cancellation before November 1st, 2008. No refund after this date.


Cancellation by the Organizer

Should the event be cancelled in its entirety due to circumstances beyond the organizers reasonable control, all fees collected will be refunded in full within 30 days of the expected date of the event.


Hotel Information

Blocks of rooms have been reserved with a special conference room rate. We will make hotel reservations on request before October 20, 2008.
